Bengals Make Flurry of Roster Moves Ahead of Sunday's Game Against Broncos

Cincinnati made multiple moves on Saturday.

CINCINNATI — Trae Waynes is back.

The Bengals officially activated the veteran cornerback from injured reserve on Saturday afternoon.

Waynes had been on the injured reserve list since Oct. 12. He'll start at cornerback for the Bengals on Sunday in Denver.

Rookie offensive lineman D'Ante Smith was also activated. He'd been sidelined with a knee injury since Oct. 16.

The Bengals also elevated linebackers Austin Calitro and Keandre Jones for a second-straight week.

Wide receiver and punt returner Trent Taylor was also elevated from the practice squad.

Calitro and Taylor are classified as COVID-19 replacements, and Jones is a standard elevation. All three players will return to the practice squad on Monday.
