Fantasy Football: Ja'Marr Chase Considered 'Start of the Week'

The 21-year-old topped the 100-yard mark in his debut.

CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase had drop issues during training camp and in the preseason, which caused his value to plummet in fantasy leagues.

The 21-year-old bounced back in a big way, tallying five receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown against the Vikings in his NFL debut. That success coupled with a matchup against a bad Bears' secondary has Sports Illustrated fantasy expert Michael Fabiano excited about Chase's potential this week.

"Drops, what drops? Last week, Chase put his critics in the closet, posting five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on seven targets," Fabiano wrote. "The Bears have struggled against wideouts in their last nine games dating back to last season, allowing 16 touchdowns and nearly 40 fantasy points per game. Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd should all be considered for fantasy managers."

Chase is Fabiano's start of the week among wide receivers. If you were lucky enough to steal the Bengals' rookie in fantasy drafts, insert him into your lineup this week.
