2024 Sun Belt Football Schedule Release: Notes, Key Dates & Numbers

Friday marked the release of the Sun Belt Conference's 2024 football schedule.

Every Sun Belt football game will be broadcast on an ESPN platform once again this year. Broadcast info and kickoff times for the first three weeks of the season are expected to be finalized late in the month of May.

Other Notes:

-Saturday, December 7 will mark the Hercules Tires 2024 Sun Belt Football  Championship Game.

-Eight Sun Belt games are currently scheduled as midweek contests.

-Every Sun Belt team will play their first game of the season on August 31.

-Games against FCS opponents: 13

-Games against P4 opponents: 20

-Games against non-conference G5 opponents: 22

-56 conference games

-Dell McGee and Georgia State host arch rival and one of McGee's former teams Georgia Southern on September 28.

-Texas State and UTSA's rematch is set for Week Two, September 7.

-Appalachian State host CUSA Champion and the G5's most recent NY6 representative Liberty on September 28.

-Arkansas State travel to face defending national champions Michigan on September 14.
