Chase Burns struck out 10 batters in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. After the game, Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller had high praise for the rookie.

"I found myself walking up the railing a few times to watch him, which I usually don't do when I'm pitching," Keller said. "He's got great stuff. You can see why (the Reds) are so excited about him."

The right-hander became the first pitcher in Major League Baseball history to have 10 or more strikeouts in four of their first eight career games.

Burns lowered his ERA to 5.24 on the season. The Reds will likely have a decision to make on him soon, as he is most likely close to his innings limit.
