'All Part Of Working Together' - Katie Blackburn Gives Her Thoughts on Joe Burrow's Media Contract Push

The star quarterback supported his teammates on their path to new deals.

CINCINNATI — Katie Blackburn spoke with reporters at the NFL Owner's Meetings last week and one topic that came up was Joe Burrow's vocal push to sign Ja'Marr Chase and others this offseason.

The Bengals' executive vice president appreciated his candor.

"It is all part of working together to try to keep everyone on the same page and understand where things are going," Blackburn said to ESPN's Ben Baby and others. "I gave him credit for speaking up and sharing his thoughts."

Burrow appeared on a bevy of shows during Super Bowl week this year and did all he could to help Chase, Tee Higgins, and Mike Gesicki secure their futures. It's another instance of him taking more vocal ownership of his pull within in the organization as Cincinnati seeks its first Super Bowl victory with him at the helm.

One last piece remains to be signed among Cincinnati's pillar players: Trey Hendrickson.
