Bengals Extend Minicamp Invite to Former Browns, Giants Quarterback Eric Dungey
CINCINNATI — The dust has settled from the 2021 NFL Draft and the Bengals are getting set for rookie minicamp.
Cincinnati's newest roster additions will be on the field together for the first time starting on Friday, May 14.
All 10 of the Bengals draft picks will be at Paul Brown Stadium, plus their undrafted free agent signings and a couple of veteran invites.
Cincinnati invited former Browns and Giants quarterback Eric Dungey to rookie minicamp.
The 24-year-old signed with New York as an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse in 2019. He didn't make it out of training camp, but did spend time on the Browns practice squad later that season.
Dungey threw for 9,340 yards, 58 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in 39 games at Syracuse. He's their all-time leader in passing yards. He also ran for 1,993 yards and 35 touchdowns.
Cincinnati also signed South Carolina quarterback Collin Hill as an undrafted free agent. The Bengals appear to be on the hunt for a young signal-caller that they can develop behind Joe Burrow and Brandon Allen.
Cincinnati also invited speedy wide receiver Jimmie Robinson to rookie minicamp.
Dungey, Robinson and Hill will get their shot to make an impression on the Bengals coaches.
