NFL News: Chiefs Land Offensive Tackle Orlando Brown in Trade With Ravens
CINCINNATI — Orlando Brown Jr. wanted a trade all offseason and he finally got one.
The Ravens agreed to send Brown, along with their 2021 second-round pick (58th overall) and their 2022 sixth-round pick to the Chiefs in exchange for Kansas City's 2021 first-round pick (31st overall), third-round pick (94th overall), fourth round pick (136th overall and a 2022 fifth-rounder.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to report the news.
Brown demanded a trade because he wants to play left tackle. He'll get his chance in Kansas City. He's entering the final year of his rookie deal and will make $3.384 million in 2021. He instantly becomes a 2022 franchise tag candidate.
The Chiefs' offensive line looks much different than it did a few months ago. Brown joins Joe Thuney in the trenches, who signed a five-year, $80 million contract with Kansas City in free agency.

Thuney steps in for Mitchell Schwartz, who was released last month. Brown has big shoes to fill as well. He'll take Eric Fisher's spot at left tackle.
Baltimore brought in veteran tackle Alejandro Villanueva for a visit this week. The former Steeler could be a potential replacement for Brown.
Following the trade, the Ravens have the 27th and 31st overall picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
