Colin Kaepernick Has a Higher Madden Rating Than Joe Burrow, Other NFL Stars
CINCINNATI — Former San Francisco 49ers star Colin Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL since 2017, but that isn't stopping him from being a highly rated quarterback in Madden 22.
Kaepernick has an 81 rating, which is higher than Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (77).
The 33-year-old is also rated higher than Justin Herbert (80), Kirk Cousins (79), Trevor Lawrence (78), Ben Roethlisberger (78) and Jared Goff (77).
Kaepernick was added to Madden 21 despite not playing in the league since 2017. He had an 81 rating in last year's game too.
While there's no doubt that Kaepernick has the talent to be an NFL quarterback, even after more than four years away from the game, it's a stretch to think he's better than young stars like Burrow, Lawrence or Herbert.
The good news is gamers can sign Kaepernick in the game. NFL teams opted not to sign him after he knelt during the National Anthem during the 2016 season.
