Michigan Cornerback Will Johnson to Hold Private Workout for Teams Ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

CINCINNATI — Michigan cornerback Will Johnson will hold a private workout for NFL scouts on April 14 according to ESPN's Jordan Reid.
Johnson is considered the second best cornerback in this year's draft class behind Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
He suffered a hamstring injury that's causing him to miss Friday's Pro Day at Michigan.
Johnson hasn't played in a game since since October. He finished the season with 14 tackles and two interceptions. He returned both of his interceptions for touchdowns.
The Bengals could seriously consider taking Johnson with the No. 17 overall pick, but Cincinnati and any team that takes him, will have to be comfortable with his medicals.
Johnson was the Defensive MVP of the 2023 College Football Playoff title game after tallying four tackles and one interceptions in the Wolverines' 34-13 win over the Washington Huskies.
"After an All-America sophomore season, which included defensive MVP honors in the national championship, Johnson put up-and-down play on his 2024 tape before missing most of his final season due to injuries," Dane Brugler wrote. "Johnson is comfortable in both press and off-coverage, with the fluid athleticism and route recognition to seamlessly transition or attack the football."
Johnson's health is going to be a big factor for NFL teams and will likely have a major impact on where he ends up being taken in the draft next month.
