Cincinnati Bengals Bring Back Familiar Face With NFL Draft Just Eight Days Away

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bengals signed veteran quarterback Logan Woodside to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Woodside spent last season on Cincinnati's practice squad as their third quarterback behind Joe Burrow and Jake Browning. The 30-year-old is entering his fifth NFL season.
The Bengals originally picked Woodside in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He's appeared in 13 regular season games for the Titans (2020-21) and Falcons (2022-23).
It says a lot about Woodside's value on a roster that he was a No. 249 pick way back in 2018, has been with three different teams, never started a game, appeared in only 13 and is still in the league.

And he's parlayed all of that into more than $3.5 million in career earnings. https://t.co/2huz6mRzfq
Look for Woodside to continue to serve as Cincinnati's third option at quarterback behind Burrow and Browning.
The Bengals made the move just eight days before the NFL Draft. It's safe to say they won't be eyeing a quarterback—with Burrow, Browning and Woodside under contract.
