Next Chelsea Manager: Four Candidates Lined Up For Interview Process

The next Chelsea manager will be the club's 14th 'permanent' boss since the turn of the century.

Chelsea parted company with Graham Potter on Sunday, before appointing Bruno Saltor on an interim basis.

But Bruno could be in the hot-seat for a while because, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea's owners do not intend to rush the process of hiring Potter's replacement.

Co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali apparently feel that they rushed into recruiting Potter from Brighton in September last year.

Sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley will be in charge of picking the next Chelsea manager.

Julian Nagelsmann is seen by many as a standout candidate following his recent dismissal by Bayern Munich.

Nagelsmann previously worked alongside Stewart at RB Leipzig.

However, Chelsea are said to be keen to interview four other candidates.

As reported by The Telegraph, Chelsea's shortlist already includes Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique and Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti, while club chiefs would like to speak to at least one more candidate, possibly Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner.

Nagelsmann, Pochettino and Enrique are all currently out of work.
