Kop Aims Cat Chant At Kurt Zouma Before Arsenal Fans Divide Opinion With Spurs Jibe

We have rounded up some of the week's most interesting chants by English soccer fans...

"That's How Your Cat Feels"

Liverpool fans in Anfield's famous Kop stand had a laugh at Kurt Zouma's expense during Wednesday's 1-0 win over West Ham.

Zouma was on the floor nursing an injury when the Kop belted out: "That's how your cat feels."

West Ham defender Zouma was sentenced to 180 hours of community service and banned from owning cats for five years after pleading guilty to animal abuse earlier this year.

"Tottenham Get Battered, Everywhere They Go"

Arsenal fans watched their side take control of Europa League Group A with a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven on Thursday night.

But the most frequent chant at the Emirates Stadium was about Tottenham's 2-0 loss at Manchester United 24 hours earlier.

A lot of fans reacted on Twitter to the relentless chants of: "Tottenham get battered, everywhere they go."

Some loved it but many others felt it was a bit "cringe" under the circumstances...

"You're Getting Sacked In The Morning"

Thursday's 3-0 defeat at Fulham proved to be Steven Gerrard's final game as Aston Villa manager.

His dismissal came as no surprise after many Villa supporters had made it clear that they wanted him out.

There was a moment of unity at Craven Cottage as both Fulham and Villa fans chanted: "You're getting sacked in the morning."

They were wrong. Gerrard was fired on Thursday night.
