CINCINNATI — The Bengals should benefit from the 49ers' blockbuster trade with the Dolphins, even though they weren't involved in the deal. It turns out, they could've been.

San Francisco had trade talks with the Miami, Atlanta and Cincinnati according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 49ers ultimately moved up to No. 3 and made the trade with the Dolphins. The Bengals were at least open to moving down to the 12th pick in the draft.

They find themselves in a much better position following Friday's trade.

The Falcons are the only team between the Bengals and their pick of potential stars including Ja'Marr Chase, Penei Sewell and Kyle Pitts.
