Fine Strike Against Real Betis Moves Marcus Rashford Above Cristiano Ronaldo On List Of Manchester United's Top Scorers In Europe

Marcus Rashford scored his 25th goal in UEFA club competitions for Manchester United during Thursday's Europa League round of 16 second leg against Real Betis.

It came 55 minutes into the game and fired United to a 1-0 win in Spain and a 5-1 victory on aggregate.

Rashford's landmark goal was a thing of beauty.

The 25-year-old controlled an aerial pass from Casemiro before unleashing a spectacular strike past the Betis keeper from almost 30 yards out.

Rashford is now sixth on United's all-time list of leading scorers in Europe, having moved clear of Cristiano Ronaldo.

At 25 years and 136 days old, Rashford is also the youngest United player ever to score 25 European goals.

Ronaldo netted 24 times in 68 continental appearances for United.

It has taken Rashford 64 games to get his first 25 goals in Europe.
