Jude Bellingham Reaches 25 Goal Involvements As Real Madrid Thrash Villarreal To Top La Liga

Real Madrid thrashed Villarreal 4-1 at the Bernabeu on Sunday to go top of La Liga and seven points clear of rivals Barcelona.

Jude Bellingham opened the scoring in the 25th minute by heading home following a superb cross from Luka Modric.

Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz and Modric later joined Bellingham on the scoresheet. Jose Luis Morales scored Villarreal's consolation goal.

Bellingham has now scored 17 goals in his first 20 matches for Madrid since joining from Borussia Dortmund in June.

The 20-year-old has also assisted five goals for the Spanish side.

Bellingham has been in fine form for England this season too. He has produced one goal and two assists in three games at international level.

Overall, Bellingham has provided 25 goal involvements in just 23 games for club and country since the start of August.
