Bengals Bolster Offensive Line, Secondary in 7-Round Mock Draft

CINCINNATI — The NFL Draft is just eight days away and the Bengals are expected to take a cornerback with the 31st overall pick.
They address the secondary in Chris Trapasso's latest mock draft for CBS Sports, but they don't take a cornerback until round four.
Instead, the Bengals take Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum with the 31st overall pick. He would solidify their offensive line transformation and give Cincinnati four new starters going into the 2022 season.
Cincinnati follows that up by taking Maryland safety Nick Cross, Minnesota tackle Daniel Faalele and Clemson cornerback Mario Goodrich in rounds 2-4.
It would be surprising to see the Bengals take two offensive linemen with their first four picks, especially if they draft Linderbaum in round one. It would be good for them to continue to add young talent to the offensive line room, especially after that unit struggled for most of last season.
