The 2023 football season has brought CUSA a new chance to be in the national spotlight with the addition of regular midweek games. In general, the first half of the season has produced some results we expected, and some that have taken us by surprise. 

Liberty have reached bowl eligibility already and lead the league thus far. Meanwhile, are FIU where they're supposed to be? And we can't forget about 5-1 Jacksonville State, playing their first season in FBS.
