The Bears' 2018 season was marked by drastic turnaround that was capped off by a first-place NFC North finish.

After going 5–11 for a third straight losing season in 2017, the Bears fired coach John Fox and brought on former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy to right the ship. The Bears then signed Raiders All-Pro pass rusher Khalil Mack to a record deal after a trade with Oakland. Mack made an immediate impact, recording 47 tackles, 12.5 sacks and six forced fumbles in his first year with the team.

With close losses, the Bears stayed competitive all season and Nagy was named NFL Coach of the Year following his first year with the team. Chicago finished the year at 12–4, losing to the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card game after a last-second field goal attempt from Cody Parkeydouble-doinked off the posts

How will they use their picks in the NFL draft this year? We’re breaking down every selection below.

Here's the full list of picks the Bears hold in the 2019 draft, which will be updated as each selection is made.

Round 1: No picks

Round 2: No picks

Round 3, Pick 10 (No. 73 overall): David Montgomery, RB, Iowa State

Andy Benoit's grade: A

Scouts love Montgomery’s contact balance and tough, physical style. He can be a featured back in Jordan Howard’s old spot, leaving Tarik Cohen in a better-fitting scatback role.

Round 4, Pick 24 (No. 126 overall): Riley Ridley, WR, Georgia

Round 6, Pick 33 (No. 205 overall): Duke Shelley, CB, Kansas St.

Round 7, Pick 8 (No. 222 overall, via Denver): Kerrith Whyte, RB, Florida Atlantic

Round 7, Pick 24 (No. 238 overall): Stephen Denmark, CB, Valdosta St.
