Graham Potter Linked With Leicester Job After Chelsea Firing
Graham Potter could be set for a swift return to Premier League management following his dismissal from Chelsea.
The 47-year-old was fired on Sunday, 24 hours after a 2-0 home loss to Aston Villa left Chelsea 11th in the EPL table.
Potter was not the only Premier League manager to lose his job on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Leicester City announced that Brendan Rodgers was out after four years at the King Power Stadium.
Rodgers was sacked after a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace left Leicester in the relegation zone.
Leicester put Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell in charge of the first-team on an interim basis but neither man is believed to be in the running to replace Rodgers permanently.
However, Potter could be a contender.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester are keen to speak to Potter to learn what he plans to do next.
If Potter is interested, he would reportedly be among Leicester's top targets.
Potter was named by multiple UK bookmakers on Sunday evening as the early favorite to replace Rodgers at Leicester.
Rafael Benitez, Jon Dahl Tomasson and Ralph Hasenhuttl are also believed to be possible candidates.
