Ada Hegerberg Becomes First Player To Score 60 Goals In UEFA Women's Champions League

Ada Hegerberg enhanced her status as the all-time leading scorer in the UEFA Women's Champions League as Lyon won 9-0 away at Slavia Prague on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Norway star, who won the Ballon d'Or Feminin in 2018, became the first player to reach 60 UWCL goals when she converted a penalty kick in the 60th minute.

Hegerberg's 60 Champions League goals have come in just 62 games.

Six of those goals have been scored in UWCL finals for Lyon.

To date, Anja Mittag - who won the tournament with Turbine Potsdam in 2005 and 2010 - is the only other player to have scored at least 50 UWCL goals.

Sara Dabritz, Danielle van de Donk, Eugenie le Sommer and Amel Majri also found the net in Prague.

Elsewhere in Group B on Tuesday, Brann won 2-1 away at St. Polten.
