Liverpool are hoping for an eventful summer that will end up with some fresh faces around the AXA Training Centre.
Jurgen Klopp is said to want a new player in every major position on the field.
The club have already made their first major signing of the year after reaching an agreement over the transfer of Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.
Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and Liverpool agreed on a £36 million transfer fee for the French centre back and he will officially join The Reds on 7 July.
With the signing of Konate, Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp have just two major positions left to sign; a midfielder and a versatile forward.
In those two positions, Liverpool will be looking for replacements for Paris Saint-Germain bound Georginio Wijnaldum and Divock Origi who is also rumoured with an Anfield exit.
However, one forward who has been impressing at the 2020 European Championships has been recently linked with a Liverpool move.
Liverpool Hold Serious Interest In Donyell Malen
According to new reports from Anfield Central, Liverpool hold serious interest in Donyell Malen.
The report says that Malen's low asking price of £25 million has peaked the club's interest.
While Liverpool have already contacted Malen's club, PSV, about his availability, the Reds have not opened formal talks with the Dutch side.
Malen has impressed in the 2020 UEFA EUROs providing two assists in three matches.
He earned the spot in the illustrious tournament off the back of a season that saw Malen feature 45 times for PSV.
In those 45 caps he scored 27 times and added another 10 assists.
If Liverpool want to sign Malen they will unfortunately have to work with his agent who is no other than notorious transfer artist Mino Raiola.
If the Reds sign Malen they will also be agreeing to the tall task of working with Raiola.
