Barcelona Move EIGHT Points Clear Of Real Madrid In La Liga Title Race

Barcelona are overwhelming favorites to win La Liga for the first time since 2019 after moving eight points clear of Real Madrid in the title race.

Second-half goals from Jordi Alba, Gavi and Raphinha saw Barca beat Sevilla 3-0 at the Camp Nou on Sunday night.

That came just hours after Real had fallen to a 1-0 defeat at Mallorca.

Barca have only lost one league game all season - a 3-1 reverse at Real in October's Bernabeu Clasico.

Xavi Hernandez's team are the leading scorers in La Liga this season, having netted 42 goals in 20 games.

Barca also boast the tightest defense, with just seven goals conceded.
