Harry Kane Scores Four Goals As He Captains Tottenham To 5-1 Win Over Shakhtar Donetsk

Harry Kane scored four goals for Tottenham in a big pre-season win over Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.

Kane wore the captain's armband at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where he was given a warm welcome by fans prior to kickoff.

The 30-year-old found the net in the 38th, 50th, 55th and 79th minutes before being substituted off moments after scoring his fourth goal.

His replacement, Dane Scarlett, later wrapped up a 5-1 win with a goal in added time.

Kane has been the subject of a summer-long transfer saga, with Bayern Munich desperate to take him to Germany.

Bayern reportedly lodged their final offer for Kane earlier this week but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has yet to respond.

Kane opened the scoring from a penalty kick on Sunday before Shakhtar hit back through Kevin Kelsy on the stroke of half-time.

It was 2-1 to Spurs in the 50th minute when Kane headed home from a wicked James Maddison cross.

Kane completed his hat-trick five minutes later with a clinical low finish following a pass from Dejan Kulusevski.

Kane's fourth goal of the day was a simple tap-in after Shakhtar keeper Dmytro Piznky had failed to hold onto a shot from Manor Solomon.

Spurs fans showed their appreciation for Kane by chanting a familiar chorus.

"He's one of our own, he's one of our own, Harry Kane, he's one of our own," rang around the stadium multiple times during the game.

This was Ange Postecoglou's first home match as Spurs boss.
