The moves in the offseason continue as the BC Lions have signed seven Americans onto the roster. They made the announcement Monday afternoon as they have added the following seven players:

  • Chase Brice, quarterback
  • Amari Catchings, offensive lineman
  • Juliano Falaniko, defensive lineman
  • Dominic Quewon, defensive lineman
  • Devin Ravenel, wide receiver
  • Jamarius Way, wide receiver
  • Milton Wright, wide receiver

The most notable name on the list is quarterback Chase Brice, who enters his second season with the Lions. Brice suited up for two games and spent most of the season on the practice roster. He’s more well known for his time playing at Clemson, winning a national title as their backup quarterback, Duke and Appalachian State.

Three wide receivers got added to the roster Devin Ravenel, Jamarius Way and Milton Wright. Way was in training camp with BC in 2022, but an elbow injury ended his opportunity to play. Both Ravenel and Wright were in rookie training camp and training camp with NFL teams this past spring/summer.

Falaniko and Quewon headline the defensive linemen joining the Lions. Quewon was a participant at the Chicago Bears rookie training camp this season. Falaniko played his college ball at USC, recording 21 tackles, 0.5 sacks and one fumble recovery in 37 games.

Catchings closes out the list as he joins the offensive line for BC. He played in the Indoor Football League this year for the Bay Area Panthers. His college career was at Jackson State where he spent part of his college career under current Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders.

The Lions previously signed seven other players to the team last week as they bolster their roster.
