Sergio Aguero Names Five Barcelona Stars In La Liga Team Of The Season But Picks Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior As Best Young Player
Sergio Aguero would select five Barcelona players if he was in charge of picking La Liga's 2022/23 Team of the Season.
Aguero believes that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, left-back Alejandro Balde, center-half Ronald Araujo, midfielder Sergio Busquets and striker Robert Lewandowski have all been among the best players in Spain over the past nine months.
Meanwhile, Aguero's star-studded XI would include three Real Madrid players - defender Eder Militao, playmaker Luka Modric and winger Vinicius Junior.

Vinicius has provided 10 goals and nine assists in 32 league appearances for Real and the 22-year-old would get Aguero's vote for Young Player of the Season.
In his latest blog post for Stake.com, Aguero explained: "Vinicius, without a doubt. It was decisive. His dribbles are indecipherable, and he gave Real Madrid the quota of goals, assists and aggressiveness that the team needed."
Aguero considered picking Vinicius as his Player of the Season too, but decided instead to go with 34-year-old Busquets, who is set to leave Barca this summer despite featuring in 31 games for the champions this season.
"I could talk about Vinicius, who had an impressive year, but I stay with Busquets," Aguero added.
"In his last season at Barca he had a great season. He represented Barca's style at its best and was the one who gave the team the balance it needed to win the title."
Aguero's Team of the Season would also feature Atletico Madrid duo Nahuel Molina and Antoine Griezmann, as well as Real Sociedad's David Silva.
