Pep Guardiola Not Happy With Erling Haaland After Ilkay Gundogan Penalty Miss

Pep Guardiola was not happy with Erling Haaland after the Manchester City striker allowed teammate Ilkay Gundogan to take a penalty kick in Saturday's 2-1 win over Leeds United.

City were leading 2-0 when Phil Foden was fouled by Pascal Struijk in the 83rd minute.

Gundogan had scored both of City's goals in the first half and wanted to complete his first ever senior hat-trick.

Both of City's first-choice penalty takers, Haaland and Riyad Mahrez, were on the field. But they stood aside to give Gundogan the chance to score his third goal of the game.

But the Germany international hit the post from 12 yards and Guardiola was not impressed.

Guardiola was seen pointing at Haaland and shouting: "You have to take it! You have to take it!"

The manager was even more annoyed moments later when Rodrigo scored against the run of play to give Leeds hope of pulling off a late comeback.

But City held on for three points that saw them move four ahead of title rivals Arsenal.
