Jurgen Klopp "Not Available" For Germany Job, Says Liverpool Manager's Agent

Jurgen Klopp's agent has said that the Liverpool boss is "not available" to take the vacant role as Germany manager.

Klopp, 56, had been suggested as a possible contender to replace Hansi Flick, who was fired on Sunday after losing four of his last five games in charge.

The German Football Association (DFB) said last week that it hoped to announce Flick's full-time replacement "as soon as possible", after installing Rudi Voller as interim manager.

But that replacement will not be Klopp, according to agent Marc Kosicke.

"He has a long-term contract with Liverpool," Kosicke told Sportschau. "He's not available for the national coaching position."

Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool since October 2015 and has won seven different trophies with the Anfield club, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.

He is under contract with the Reds until June 2026.

Other managers said to be on the DFB's shortlist include Voller, Julian Nagelsmann and Oliver Glasner.
