Sadio Mane Signs Contract Worth $830,290 Per Week After Joining Cristiano Ronaldo At Al Nassr

Sadio Mane completed his transfer from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr on Tuesday night.

The 31-year-old has signed a contract with the Saudi Pro League club until the summer of 2027.

According to Sky Sports, Mane will earn £650,000 ($830,290) per week in Saudi Arabia.

That equates to a tax-free annual salary of £33.8m ($43.18m), meaning Mane will earn around £135m ($172m) should he stay with Al Nassr for the full duration of his deal.

Mane joined Bayern from Liverpool in June last year for an initial transfer fee of £27.5m.

That deal also included a potential further £7.5m in performance-related add-ons. But it is understood that Bayern will not have to make any further payments to Liverpool after selling Mane to Al Nassr for a fee in the region of £24m ($30.66m).

Mane scored just seven goals in 25 Bundesliga matches last season.

Mane will team up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr, who finished second in last season's Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr started the 2023/24 season last week, drawing 0-0 with Al-Shabab before beating Tunisian side USM 4-1.

Both of those games were group matches in the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup.

Al Nassr currently top Group C after two rounds of fixtures but must avoid defeat against Egyptian champions Zamalek on Thursday or face likely elimination.

Ronaldo is still the highest earner in Saudi soccer. The Portugal captain is said to be making around $220m per year.
