Five-Star Arsenal Thrash Crystal Palace

Arsenal ended a four-game winless streak by thrashing Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Gabriel headed home from a Declan Rice corner to open the scoring in the 11th minute.

The Brazilian center-back was then initially credited with a second goal later in the first half after getting on the end of a Bukayo Saka corner.

However, Gabriel's second strike of the game was eventually reassigned as a Dean Henderson own goal.

Leandro Trossard made it 3-0 just before the hour-mark when he finished off a quick counter-attack following good work by Gabriel Jesus.

Gabriel Martinelli then came off the bench to score twice in added time.

The result equaled the record for Arsenal's biggest Premier League win against a London opponent.

It also saw Mikel Arteta's side climb above Aston Villa into third place in the table.
