Cristiano Ronaldo Scores His Second Free-Kick Goal In Six Days With Powerful Strike For Portugal Against Liechtenstein

Cristiano Ronaldo scored directly from a free-kick for the second game in a row to help Portugal thrash Liechtenstein 4-0 on Thursday.

The 38-year-old had netted from a dead-ball situation as Al Nassr beat Abha 2-1 in the Saudi Pro League six days earlier.

His latest set-piece goal came from 19 yards as he blasted his shot to the right of Liechtenstein's six-man wall and watched on as the ball burst through the hands of the keeper.

The goal arrived in the 63rd minute of Thursday's Euro 2024 qualifier to put Portugal 4-0 up in Lisbon.

Ronaldo had scored the game's third goal from a 51st-minute penalty following earlier strikes from Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva.
