Kylian Mbappe Nutmegs Defender En Route To Scoring First PSG Goal Since Injury Lay-Off

Kylian Mbappe marked his return to the Paris Saint-Germain starting XI with a fine early goal on Sunday.

Mbappe had not started a PSG game since February 1 when he suffered a hamstring injury in a 3-1 win at Montpellier.

But he came back with a bang by scoring inside 11 minutes against Lille at the Parc des Princes.

Mbappe's goal came after he latched onto a pass by Neymar from inside his own half.

The France forward still had a lot of work to do after collecting the ball on the left wing.

He was faced with two defenders once he arrived in the penalty area.

But he beat them both with some silky skill, nutmegging Tiago Djalo in the process, before drilling a shot past keeper Lucas Chevalier.

Mbappe scored again later in Sunday's game.

The 24-year-old bagged an 87th-minute equalizer after PSG had gone from 2-0 up to 3-2 down.

PSG went on to beat Lille 4-3 thanks to a winning goal scored by Lionel Messi deep into added time.
