Declan Rice Named Premier League Player of the Year at 2024 London Football Awards

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice won the Premier League Player of the Year prize at the 2024 London Football Awards on Thursday night.

Rice won the award after topping a vote ahead of fellow nominees Guglielmo Vicario, Jarrod Bowen, Pedro Porro and William Saliba.

The independent judging panel comprised of representatives from football administration, football media and former players, including Carlton Cole and Bobby Zamora.

Rice's award was recognition for his fine form over the past 12 months, both for Arsenal and former club West Ham United.

The 25-year-old has scored four goals and provided five assists in 26 EPL games since joining the Gunners in July.

He captained West Ham to glory in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.

Rice has now won the Premier League Player of the Year gong at the London Football Awards twice, having also been honored in 2022.
