When Is The UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final Draw?

Europe's best teams will discover their path to UEFA Champions League glory on Friday.

The draw for the quarter-finals of the 2022/23 Champions League will be swiftly followed by the draw for the semi-finals.

Unlike in the round of 16, clubs from the same country will not be deliberately kept apart. For example, Manchester City could be paired with Chelsea.

When is the Champions League quarter-final draw?

Friday's draw ceremony will begin in Nyon, Switzerland at noon local time (7am Eastern Time).

The event will be streamed live on UEFA.com.

It will begin with the quarter-final draw, before the semi-finals are drawn.

A third draw will then take place "to determine the 'home' side in the final for administrative reasons."

When will these matches be played?

  • Quarter-final first legs: April 11/12
  • Quarter-final second legs: April 18/19
  • Semi-final first legs: May 9/10
  • Semi-final second legs: May 16/17
  • Final: June 10
