Winnipeg Blue Bombers Ink Three American Players to Contracts

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed offensive tackle Kendall Randolph, defensive tackle Kenny Randall and linebacker Jeremiah Gemmel on Thursday.

Winnipeg was busy on Thursday, signing three Americans. The newest Blue Bombers are offensive tackle Kendall Randolph, defensive tackle Kenny Randall and linebacker Jeremiah Gemmel.

Randolph is in the CFL for the first time. He was most recently with the Seattle Seahawks, spending training camp with the team before being cut. He played four seasons at Alabama where he appeared in 53 games at guard, tackle and tight end.

Randall previously attended training camp with the Bombers in 2022 before going to the USFL to play for the New Jersey Generals. He found success in the USFL last year, posting 16 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 10 games. The Jacksonville Jaguars had Randall at training camp in 2021 before the team released him.

Gemmel played seven games for the Orlando Guardians of the XFL last year. His NFL stops include the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos in 2022. He attended North Carolina where he was named Third Team All-ACC in his senior year, racking up 75 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three pass deflections, one interception and one forced fumble.

After losing five players officially in the offseason, the Bombers are adding outside talent, with offensive lineman Eric Lofton being the only player to sign who did not play in Winnipeg last year.
