Former Real Madrid Goalkeeper Keylor Navas Joins Nottingham Forest On Loan From PSG

Three-time UEFA Champions League winner Keylor Navas has joined Nottingham Forest on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 36-year-old Costa Rica international will spend the remainder of the 2022/23 season at Forest.

Navas was the third of three signings made by Forest on the final day of the January transfer window.

Forest had earlier bought Brazilian defender Felipe and English midfielder Jonjo Shelvey for undisclosed fees from Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United respectively.

Navas could make his Premier League debut on Sunday when Forest host Leeds United at the City Ground.

Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson had been Forest's first-choice keeper this season but he was recently ruled out for up to six weeks with a muscular injury.

Navas has not played in a competitive game for PSG all season.

However, he featured in three matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar before playing for PSG in an exhibition game against a Saudi XI containing Cristiano Ronaldo in mid-January.
